Saturday football
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs BRENTFORD (1230)
Two teams fighting to be England’s representative in next season’s UEFA Conference League. What’s that? Home win.

BOURNEMOUTH vs MANCHESTER UNITED (1500)
Barring a Spurs-style balls-up, Man U have got fourth sewn up. The Cherries, meanwhile, have another season in the top flight. That’s some achievement. Away win.

FULHAM vs CRYSTAL PALACE (1500)
There honestly is nothing interesting to say about this fixture. And precious little to choose between the sides. Manuel.

LIVERPOOL vs ASTON VILLA (1500)
A win will see Liverpool take the UEFA spot. But can Villa spoil their already muted celebrations? Why not. Manuel.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs EVERTON (1500)
The Toffees are still in deep shit, while their hosts have done well to make it to safety well before the end of the season. Everton will go for it, but have they got what it takes? Manuel.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST vs ARSENAL (1730)
Forest have done incredibly well to put three points between themselves and the bottom three. But goal difference isn’t on their side and they’ve got a tricky trip to Palace to end the season with. Arsenal’s title aspirations, which were so much more than aspirations just a few weeks ago, have gone up in smoke. The Forest groundsman has been fined and suspended by the FA for being naughty before a game in November. Nobody’s safe any more: Doris the tea lady, take note. That aside, this is a very interesting fixture and with home advantage you have to fancy Forest to be in with a shout for a point. Manuel.

*SUNDAY*

WEST HAM UNITED vs LEEDS UNITED (1330)
BFS returns to East London and a heartfelt welcome surely awaits. But things don’t look good for his side, who are in urgent need of points and goals from today and Spurs a week later. We, on the other hand, have things of an altogether higher magnitude to occupy us. Depending on other results, Leeds could be relegated today. Expect a battle. Manuel.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs SOUTHAMPTON (1400)
Realistically, the Seagulls have the Conference League to aim for. They should make it with a game in hand and a point advantage over Spurs and Villa. The Saints may want to give their youths a taste of top flight football. It may not come again. Home win.

MANCHESTER CITY vs CHELSEA (1600)
A win today will give City the title in their last home game of the season. They’ll be tears in north London. Home win.

*MONDAY*

NEWCASTLE UNITED vs LEICESTER CITY (2000)
Speaking of tears, there’s every chance that the Foxes will have their departure from the Premier League confirmed this evening. Home win.

*WEDNESDAY*

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs MANCHESTER CITY (2000)
The Seagulls entertain the champions. Expect an exhibition of football from arguably the world’s greatest club side. Away win.

Toffees in Deep Shit would have been a welcome addition to the Monty Python Whizzo Chocolate collection alongside Crunchy Frog and Cockroach Cluster.

Brighton are good but calling them the best team in world football is a stretch.

Cheese - He climbed off the fence the other week in the Leicester Everton game predicting a home win and it was a draw, so he won't be doing that again.

I'm really hoping Wolves step off the beach and turn the toffees over.

Is 5th and 6th spot Europa league and 7th Conference?

Absolutely baffling this thread didn’t show up for me until I’d posted an alternative- apologies Coffee. Thought it was very weird there wasn’t already one!

Anyway, lovely to see spurs blow a lead and hopefully miss out on Europe.

I don’t watch Brentford much but every time I do Mbuemo seems to have a good game.

Tottingham struggling again is a nice start to the weekend :-)

Hopefully “Ballon Dawson” will help put Everton to the sword next ?

Re: Saturday football
Spurs don't want the Conference as they want a good run for 6th place next season.

1-3, classic stuff. Embarrassing for Mee though, faking a head injury after healing the ball.
